Beatboxing you say? Pah. Easy. I’ll do it with a flute. Not me, obviously. I was saying “me” in character as this rather talented gentleman.
I really am loving beatboxing at the moment. Well, for the last 2 years. So not really just “at the moment”. That sounds like I discovered it this morning and have been listening to it for last hour or so.
Anyway, the decidication is impressive. And the creativity. This guy is also a musician of a more traditional nature too.
I was gonna post the track ”Mie” from Caspian’s album “Tertia”. Today it shall be the soundtrack for some photography. @Sen0rB0ng0 on twitter pointed me in the intriguing direction of lomography so that will be the inspiration for the day.
But I didn’t post track as got worried some copyright nazi would thow nija swastika stars at me head.
This could be a new approach. Use one track as the inspiration for the day. Perhaps people already do this. If so I want to meet whoever uses Cameo’s “Word Up” as their soundtrack to the day. Consequently I do not want to meet whoever uses Cannibal Corpse.
I have attempted to make some resolutions. This is in no way a rip off of Charlie Jamison. I might make monthly ones. Why restrict our target setting to one day of the year? Foolish.
There was a fantastic documentary on BBC2 recently about Film Noir. It gives me an excuse to put this pic up and to wonder about whether we’re going to see a return of some of the film noir main ingredients.
I’d like to say how I’m sure Sarah Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant could actually have made a modern classic noir instead of “Did You Hear About the Morgans”. Honestly. Huh? Sarcasm? No, no, no.
This was stencilled on the street next to the river in Leicester. Ok, it’s hardly Banksy but I like it.
